Local 1000 Union Elections
The nomination period for election to Local 1000 leadership
positions statewide closed on February 12, 2008.
Most of the leadership positions in District Labor Council 788
were uncontested and pursuant to union policy, all uncontested
candidates are deemed elected.
These newly elected representatives will take office on July
1, 2008 and will serve a three-year term.
